Terms & Conditions
Bookings
Please return your booking form via e-mail or post with a balance of one third of the total price plus £300 damage deposit. For holidays booked within 2 months of your holiday start date please pay the full amount plus the damage deposit.
Please pay the outstanding balance in full 2 months before the start date of the holiday.
Occupying Times
Tenancies start at 4pm on the start date of your holiday and terminate at 10am on the finish date. The parking spaces must not be used before 4pm on the start date or after 10am on the termination date.
Sleeping capacity
The property may not be occupied by persons other than those named on the booking form. The hirer shall not part with possession o f the property or share it except with members of the party named on the booking form
Linen and Towels
The property is fully equipped with bed linen, pillows, duvets and towels. T towels are provided.
Gas and Electricity
The price is inclusive of heating and electricity
Availability
The contract is made on the basis that the property will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event arising from circumstances beyond our control that the property is not available the property owner may be forced to cancel the booking. The hirer will advise of such circumstances as early as possible and the property owner will refund all monies paid in full but the hirer will have no further claim against the property owner.
Neighbours
The Hirer and other members of the party must use the house responsibly and comply with reasonable rules. They must not annoy or become a nuisance to the occupants of neighbouring properties.
Access
The property owner or their representative shall be allowed reasonable access to the property at any reasonable time during the holiday.
Pets and Smoking
Athenry is a strictly non-smoking house and no pets are allowed.
Personal Belongings
Baggage and personal belongings are at the Hirer’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to such items.
Insurance
We recommend that the hirer take out insurance to cover the cost of losses- damage to personal belongings, cancellation and accidental damage.
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation being received in writing, the Property owner will endeavour to re-let the property and if successful will refund any monies already paid less an admin charge of £50. If the property is not re-let for any reason the original hirer is liable for the whole of the rental.
Damage Deposit
All bookings are accepted on the condition that the property is left clean and tidy and all breakages and any damage will be paid for by the person who made the booking. The damage deposit less the cost of any damages or exceptional cleaning will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure or we will notify you of any underpayment to be met.
